For millennia, the Jade Moon and the Ual-leen have fought in the murky underworld of the galaxy. Most people remain unaware of them, but their struggle spares no one—not even the innocent.
Maya and Ihy raise Ianus, a young monk orphaned when he was two, in a Jade Moon monastery far away from the dangerous life in the underworld that killed his parents. Ianus comes to accept his adopted parents as his own flesh and blood.
When he receives a vision of Ihy’s murder, Ianus plunges deep into the underworld. With the help of his friends, he determines to face the people who murdered his birth parents. But Ianus fails to realize the Ual-leen’s real goal—to steal an ancient and powerful relic.
Now Ianus must save his dying father and recover the relic. Will he be able to navigate the underworld successfully, or will he fall victim to the murderer’s plot? In a rush to save Ihy and his friends, Ianus must wrestle with far greater principles: do we have free will or are we slaves to our circumstances? More importantly, is it worth sacrificing life and freedom for order and security?

1- Child of Centuries
On his Day of Ascension, a nightmarish vision steals Ianus' sight: his adopted father would soon be killed. Now, Ianus wrestles with the prophecy, doubting his faith. Desperately, he searches for a way to save him, but will he learn the most important fact before it is too late... -

Abducting his father, he runs off in search of the one person who might be able to save him. They race across the stars. As they approach Kur-gal, they are attacked. Ianus is paralyzed. A specter whispers in his ear, taunting him and enticing him to turn from his chosen path. -
3- Back from the Dawn
All roads pointing to the city of the ancients located deep within the forbidden lands, Ianus must choose whether to follow the path to almost certain death set before him in the hope he can uncover the hands acting against him, or to stay in defiance of the gods and his fate. But when they arrive at the gates, Ianus encounters the enigmatic Valeryn who sparks remote and clouded memories in him. -
4- Nemesis
Ianus passed all of their tests is now the the key to unlocking the most destructive force the galaxy has ever known. The ancient evil stalking him moves into release the secret guarded in the acients' temple.
